WHAT DATA DO WE COLLECT?
1. When you interact with us, for example, on our website, through our social media accounts, by email, when you visit our showroom or our offices, or at events, we may collect your personal data.

  1. Processing necessary for the performance of a contract or prior to entering into a contract
    
    When you start a client relationship with us, say by making an enquiry, getting in contact, etc. we process your contact information on a precontractual or contractual basis. Transactional information and information about your watch will be processed in the course of our business relationship and, if you respond to a job offer or send us an employment application, your professional information will also be processed on the same basis.
  2. Processing on the basis of your consent
    
    If you choose to subscribe to our communications and marketing materials, such as our Newsletter or mailing list, we will explicitly ask for your consent to process your personal data. Please note that you may exercise the option to unsubscribe or otherwise withdraw your content at any time by clicking on the “unsubscribe” button at the bottom of our Newsletter communications or contacting us at support@furlanmarri.com.   3. Processing necessary for the purposes of our legitimate interests or of a third party
    
    Although as our client you might be in a contractual relationship for specific goods or services, we may want to let you know about different but related offerings that may be of benefit to you. In this case, it is in the legitimate interest of both our business and you that we process your contact information. Please note that in this case you have the right to object to the processing by contacting us at support@furlanmarri.com.
2. We also process identifying information to guarantee the security of our premises, of our IT systems, as well as our staff and clients.
3. Processing necessary for compliance with a legal obligation
  
  We as a business have legal obligations under both national and international law. In order to fulfil our obligations, we process your personal data for compliance purposes, record keeping, or fiscal, employment or security reasons.

WITH WHOM DO WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL DATA AND WHERE ARE THEY TRANSFERED?
1. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
2. We may share your personal data with some of our providers (e.g. our e-commerce platform, our newsletter publishing and distribution services, our billing company, our delivery and shipping services, our marketing agency, and our fiduciary), our partners boutiques, or with authorities. We may also share your personal data with our partners when we co-host an event together.
3. Our network of partner boutiques spans across various territories and is constantly evolving. Please contact us if you would like to know whether you can purchase our goods in a boutique where you are located.
4. Most of our providers are located in Switzerland and in the European Union.
5. That being said, for our e-shop we rely on the Canadian company Shopify Inc.. Canada benefits from a partial adequacy decision from the European Commission, as well as the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC). For people located in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, the Irish affiliate Shopify International Ltd., acts as the Controller. For lawful transfers of personal data outside of Europe and Switzerland (except if it is in Canada), Shopify relies on the European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses – see here for more information.
6. Some of our providers have their headquarters in the United States in addition to their offices and/or entities in the European Union or Switzerland. It is therefore important to note that your personal data may be transferred to this territory. If you don’t want your personal data to be transferred in the United States, please do not send us your personal data.
7. These suppliers have nonetheless put in place various safeguards when transferring personal data to the United States.
8. We may use FedEx as a shipping and delivery service.
